Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting a corporate watercolour workshop for the female staff of a financial company, in celebration of International Women’s Day.
Amidst the hustle and bustle of the corporate world, finding time to relax can be a challenge. This workshop provided a wonderful opportunity for these ladies to unwind, relax, and explore their creativity through the calming art of watercolour painting on a Friday evening.
Step-by-Step Learning for All Skill Levels
We structured the session to be beginner-friendly and engaging, making it accessible to everyone, even those picking up a paintbrush for the first time!
Warm-Up Drills: We started with simple watercolour exercises to help participants familiarise themselves with their materials and understand basic techniques.
Painting Leaves & Flowers: Next, we progressed to painting different leaf shapes and floral elements, guiding everyone step by step.
Floral Composition: Finally, participants put their new skills together to create a beautiful floral bouquet or cluster. Each masterpiece was carefully framed in a mini wooden frame - a perfect keepsake to decorate their workspace!
For those who couldn’t attend due to work commitments, we provided take-home kits with materials and a fully guided instruction sheet, ensuring that no one missed out on the experience.
Hosting a Watercolour Workshop for Your Team
A private watercolour workshop is a fantastic activity to encourage creativity, mindfulness and relaxation. Whether it’s for corporate team building, bridesmaids' parties, or private events, I’d love to curate a session tailored to your needs - at our cozy studio or a venue of your choice.
